Simone Clarke and Heather Tuffery are mapping the space between each other’s flats and are interested in including the mapping of relationships to others through textile collage. They shall also be inviting members of the public to create a piece of work that responds to the word MAPPING and running workshops for people to produce maps in situ which will be incorporated into the show. These various pieces will be collected and used to produce a final piece of work that will be shown during the exhibition starting 03-07-10.
Simone and Heather will be in the gallery on Saturday 3rd July and Sunday 4th July from 12-4pm and invite you to join them making crafted maps in situ – works made will then be incorporated into the show. Materials will be supplied.
